日本郵船株式会社、株式会社MTIおよびフィンランドの船舶技術コンサルタント会社であるElomatic Oyの3社は、アンモニア燃料船に効率的に改造・転換することが可能なLNG（液化天然ガス）燃料船の建造を目指すプロジェクトで、新たにケープサイズバルカーと大型原油タンカー（VLCC）のコンセプト設計を行い、コンセプト設計のフェーズを完了しました。

Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK), MTI Co., Ltd. (MTI), and Elomatic Oy have completed the concept design phase of a new capesize bulk carrier and a very large crude oil tanker (VLCC) in a project that aims to build an LNG-fueled vessel that can be efficiently converted to an ammonia-fueled vessel, or ARLFV, an ammonia-fuel ready LNG-fueled vessel.
