遊郭の起源は安土桃山時代に遡ります。権力の統制と保護を受け遊郭として1ヶ所に集められるのは、近世以降になります。
江戸時代、日本の最大の遊郭として吉原遊廓が誕生します。
闇深い歴史も多くありますが、当時の雰囲気を写真から少しでも感じ取っていただけると嬉しいです。
